WISSAM SHEKHANI
Lebanese Contemporary Intellectual
Wissam Shekhani (born 10 March 1978), son of
Bassam and Khamael Shekhani.
He is a Lebanese contemporary intellectual, inventor, scientist, architect, painter, photographer, environmentalist and
philanthropist.
He was born in Batroumine, a small village over the northern
mountains of Lebanon. He achieved his Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering at the "Academie Libanaise Des Beaux Arts" A.L.B.A.- UOB (Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts- University of Balamand).
He started his career life in 2004 as an "Industrial Architect"
and continued in parallel his philanthropist and artistic
movements. He is known for his oil and acrylic paintings, mainly
"The Red Carpet Of The Prison" along with his inventions in
engineering industrial design, scientific theories and architecture.

IN ENGINEERING DESIGNS & INVENTIONS
Wissam Shekhani is approved by SAVE
International USA as a "Value
Engineering Specialist".
He is working as an "Industrial
Architect" in the "design-construct"
jobs for a well known company for Mega Industrial
projects, mainly in oil & gas,
petrochemicals, power and water
fields.
He had invented the "Pentagon
Arabian Arabesque Design" in 2002, the "Industrial Craft Materials
Travel Box" in 2008 and the "Standsit" Chair in 2010.
Similar to his art works; Wissam conveys social messages in his architecture, mainly in his
conceptual design for "Brainwashing Machine"; located typically in all big cities to alert the
pedestrians of potable water misusage.
IN VISUAL ART
"The Realism" is clearly present in Wissam Shekhani Art Works (paintings, sculptures and photography).
He always searches for showing a photo of the reality
with true colors and shapes, framed in subjects that
convey a social message; such the acrylic painting

Beauty".
Wissam's first successful exhibition was in 2004 at the
"Arabian Art Gallery", "Al-Khobar City, Saudi
Arabia.
Herein few of his best works in plastic arts: “The
Industrial Destructive Beauty”, “Left Alone
After Death”, “The Red Carpet Of The Prison”,
“The Thorns Of The Arabian Beauty” and
“Suspended Between The Dark & The Light”.
IN PHILANTHROPY & ENVIRONMENTALISM
Survived the Lebanese civil war, Wissam
Shekhani the "philanthropist" turned to seek
for a community attention over
"environmentalism", "global nature
preservation", "animal protection" and
"Lebanon's cultural development".
He establishing social organizations, causes
and international movements aiming for stopping
deforestation, global warming and building
scientific research centers.
The Cedars Trees of Lebanon "Cedrus Libanus"
have a great patriotically impact on Wissam
Shekhani. He dedicated a lot of his time for
strengthening the importance of Cedars
protection in particular and Green in general; he is the founder of the "Rescue Lebanon Cedars Trees, RLCT" Organization.
He created other organizations too aiming for saving trees around the world, such: "Stop Global Warming & Save The Trees".
